New blog, Facebook page and Twitter account for the History of Parliament

The History of Parliament has just launched a new blog, Facebook page and Twitter account.

These accounts will keep you completely up to date with what is going on at the History. Follow @HistParl on Twitter and like facebook.com/HistoryOfParliament for up to date news, stories and facts from the history. Follow the new blog, at http://thehistoryofparliament.wordpress.com to read contributions from the History’s academic staff (including stories from their research, the interesting lives and events they have uncovered as well as their experiences deep in the archives). We will be reporting on all the History’s news, publications and events. Finally, we’ll also try and put some current events into their historical context.

Don’t forget that there’s plenty more on social media, from the 1832-68 section at their ‘Victorian Commons’ blog and @TheVictCommons Twitter feed, and from our director, Paul Seaward’s blog.
