Biography

Hewet, who attested documents at Leicester in 1414 and 1416, owned a messuage in Cross Lane, in St. Peter’s parish. He was present at the parliamentary elections of 1420, 1421 (May), 1425 and 1426, and witnessed the indentures.1 He was dead by 1433.2
