Biography

Little is known about this obscure figure save that he did business as a plumber and that he was a tenant of one of the properties illegally concealed from the Crown by his fellow burgess, Nicholas Horncastle*. The latter leased him a garden in Northampton at a rent of 1s. a year, and this remained in his hands until November 1419, if not later.
