Biography

Nothing has been discovered about this Member’s activities beyond the fact that he sat on committees concerning fish (7 Dec. 1584) and tellers and receivers (10 Mar. 1585). The many contemporary references to Thomas Fenner concern another New Shoreham man, a naval officer who served against the Armada, and who corresponded with Burghley, Drake and Walsingham. Both Thomas Fenners married into the local Bellingham family, but their relationship to each other, if any, is unknown.
