Biography

Lucy was a minor when his father died, leaving him, and any wife he might have, a life interest in the manor of Claybrook in Leicestershire and a fourth share of half the family plate. He may, like his elder brother Thomas, have been taught by the martyrologist, John Foxe. He was presumably returned to Parliament for Brackley through his maternal relatives, the Fermors, and must have died before 30 Sept. 1566, when Edward Onley replaced him for the second session.
