Biography

Nothing has been ascertained about Nutall beyond the fact that he received a grant of arms in 1581, and in 1585 wrote to Burghley about a proposed Act of Parliament ‘for repealing of letters patent granted to Peter Gray’, concerning concealed lands in the deanery of Chester. He died 8 Feb. 1586, being buried at Frodsham five days later.
