Biography

Paget was twice returned for Lichfield by his father, to whom the borough owed its re-enfranchisement in 1547. He took his seat in the Lords on the opening day of the 1566 session, 30 Sept., but no record has been found of a by-election at Lichfield. He died 28 Dec. 1568, having made his will, ‘diseased in body’, on 27 Nov.
