Biography

Dillington was returned for Newport at a by-election in 1689 caused by the death of Sir Robert Dillington, 3rd Bt. He was probably a Whig, but he made no speeches and was appointed to no committees. He was buried at Stetchworth, the seat of his uncle, Richard Gorges, on 11 Feb. 1690.2
