Biography

Cornewall, whose father represented Weobley 1685-7, Hereford 1689-95, Herefordshire 1698-1700, and Weobley 1701, 1702, 1705-8, and 1710-13, was returned for Hereford in 1747 at the age of 62, after standing unsuccessfully for it in 1741. Classed as a government supporter, he did not stand in 1754. He died 4 June 1756.
