Biography

Fydell, a wine merchant of Boston, in partnership with his brother-in-law John Michell, possessed considerable influence with the Boston corporation.1 Returned for Boston in 1734 as a Tory, he voted against the Administration. He did not stand again, dying 11 Apr. 1780.
