Biography

Heysham was a Barbados merchant, trading in London in partnership with his brother Robert, whom he succeeded as agent for the colony in 1704. Next year he joined his brother as Member for Lancaster, for which he was re-elected in 1715 as a Whig, voting against the Septennial bill. He died June 1716.
