Biography

Lytton, who does not appear to have had any Shropshire connexions, was returned for Bishop’s Castle soon after marrying a wife said to have a fortune of £50,000.1 His D.C.L. Oxford shows him to have been a Tory and in the 1747 Parliament he was classed as Opposition. He died April 1762.
