Biography

Michell was a wine merchant at Boston, for which he was returned as a Tory in succession to his partner and brother-in-law, Richard Fydell. He voted against the Administration in all three divisions on the Hanoverians in the 1741 Parliament and was classed as Opposition in 1747. He died 30 Nov. 1766.
