Biography

Peachey was returned for Midhurst in succession to his brother, Sir Henry Peachey, voting with the Opposition. In 1741 he was invited by the Tories to stand for Sussex but declined.1 In the next Parliament his only vote was with the Opposition on the chairman of the elections committee, 16 Dec. 1741. He died 9 Apr. 1744, aged 64.2
