Biography

Returned for Tewkesbury after a contest in 1722 and re-elected unopposed in 1727, Reade voted consistently with the Government. He died 28 Mar. 1756, leaving £35,000 in trust for the purchase of lands of inheritance for his nephew Sir John Reade, 5th Bt.2
