Biography
Bloxam was a partner in the firm of wholesale stationers, Foudrinier, Bloxam, and Walker, of Lombard Street; and in 1791 in the Southwark bank of Sanderson, Harrison, Brenchley, Bloxam, and Co. In 1780 he canvassed Cricklade, but withdrew before the poll; in 1788 he was returned after a contest on the Government interest at Maidstone (which was managed by John Brenchley, later his banking partner). Bloxam supported Pitt. There is no record before 1790 of his having spoken in the House.
He died 16 Oct. 1822.
