b. 17 June 1739, 1st s. of Zachary Philip Fonnereau, and bro. of Martyn Fonnereau. educ. ?Trinity Hall, Camb. 1755; L. Inn 1753, called 1765. m. 15 Dec. 1763, Mary, da. of Armstead Parker of Peterborough, 1s. 3da. suc. fa. 1778.
Returned for Aldeburgh together with his father, he is likewise marked in Bute’s list: ‘Newcastle, contra’. He voted together with his uncle and his father against the Government on 1 Dec. 1762, and also with his uncle on 9 Dec. After that he again followed them in adhering in turn to each successive Administration. He did not stand in 1768 nor at any subsequent election. There is no record of his having spoken in the House.
He died 17 Feb. 1797.
