Margaret, da. of Edward Horsman of Stretton, Rutland, 1s. d.v.p.  suc. kinsman Sir Edward Smith, 2nd Bt., at Edmondthorpe 1721; and fa. 1736.

Biography

Smith was returned unopposed for Leicestershire in 1754 and 1761. He was classed as a Tory, both by Dupplin in 1754 and by Bute in 1761. No speech or vote by him is known after 1754.  He died 15 Feb. 1762.
