Biography

Worsley, returned at Yarmouth presumably on the Holmes interest vice his second cousin Edward Meux Worsley, supported North’s Administration. Returned at Newtown in 1784, he relinquished his seat after a few months. He may have been brought in by his distant cousin Sir Richard Worsley as a stop-gap until a suitable candidate was found. Apparently he never spoke in the House.

He died 10 Apr. 1787.
